We came for happy hour, so I cannot speak for the regular menu, but the cocktails were fabulous and the beef tips were tender. I had two different cocktails, both delicious, called the Lion's Tail (a slight variation on the traditional Manhattan) and the Adobe Disneyland (a bourbon, ginger liqueur, and lemon juice concoction). For the food, we ordered beef tips (amazing), green chili cheese balls (good, but there were only three on the plate), mussels, taquitos, prime rib sliders, blue crab crabcakes (very good as well), and truffle fries (also amazing). Prices are decent (approximately $40 a person for three drinks and three food plates per person) and the service was also excellent. Our server was Carla, and she did a great job ensuring our night went perfectly. I would highly recommend Dinner For Two and as long as the chef stays consistent, dinner should be as fantastic as happy hour.

Such an AMAZING experience. The main dining area was completely full on a Sunday night, but they have a really adorable bar area with the lounge. We decided to sit in the lounge and relax during, which was really the best way to go. On Sundays they have a three-course prix-fixe meal for $25. The options are great. I had the Seafood Sampler, french onion soup, and sorbet. Everything was so flavorful. Service was decent at the bar. I would definitely come back again and again. What a gem in Santa Fe. The ambience was everything.

Cozy little restaurant that's locally owned and has a variety of creative cocktails at their full bar and a delicious menu. Go for happy hour, you will be glad you did. Reduce prices on some drinks and many appetizers. Cozy seating oh, it would also B good for a romantic dinner.

Our hotel (Inn of the governor's) suggested dinner for two, and they were right. My husband had the seafood sampler with salmon, crab cake, and coconut shrimp which he really enjoyed. I loved my veal piccatta. Bartender was great, friendly personality and took great care of us. A great first meal on our first visit to Santa Fe!

We thought we would leave Santa Fe without a memorable meal, but we were proven wrong. A chef makes all the difference. Fantastic meal, fantastic service. Lavender Pamplemousses was excellent. Table side Caesar wonderful! We will be back.

We visited Dinner for Two on a whim while touring the Santa Fe Plaza area. We were a tad underdressed - this is a classy place! The drinks and appetizers were wonderful, and their French Onion Soup was excellent. However, our waiter Jason seemed cold towards us, which is why we’re giving four stars. The rest of the staff was very friendly, including the table-side chef who put on extraordinary dining room performances. We really wish we could’ve given five stars, but we did feel judged and ignored, and it affected our experience.

Loved the trout stuffed with crab. Friendly service. Plus, we showed up without a reservation on a busy night and they still accommodated us in the lounge.

Despite the craziness of Restaurant Week, Dinner for Two consistently delivers top notch dishes and drinks. Every time I've dined at this establishment, everything has made my mouth water. The table side dishes for two make you feel like you're getting a live personalized cooking show. The Bananas Foster performance this evening was spectacular. The well constructed crab cakes appetizer is alaways a hit, and it's featured in the attached picture, beautiful and delicious!

While the food tasted very good, the portions are rather small. Sadly, we were sat in the center of the dining room where the wait staff kept whizzing by brushing up against us . But one important suggest to the restaurant would be...get some good bread to go with your dinners. How can any kitchen not serve bread with veal masala or mussels with tomato sauce! The corn bread won't cut it during dinner. (Glass of wine at $13 is a bit high)

Went for the Sunday night special--soup, entree and dessert for $30 (upcharge for steaks)-- everything was delicious and the service was friendly...Two complaints-- the room was chilly near the door (it WAS a very cold night in SF) and the drink menu is damn hard to read (actually looked it up on my phone instead)-- but a very nice meal. Next time we will go during Happy Hour (4-6:30 and 8:30-10) and sit in the bar where you can watch the kitchen work and get some outstanding tenderloin tips and prime rib sliders for $8 each.

Romantic atmosphere, upscale but not pretentious. Great food, interesting cocktail menu, friendly staff. They seem to be known for their steak—it was pretty darn good! For something unique, try the “Paradise Lost” cocktail while it's still on the menu. It's made with a banana liquor, and it is very tasty.

Awesome concept for a restaurant. The bartender/owner really makes this place special. We sat at the bar had a couple cocktails. Met some really friendly locals and got a good buzz going. We have to go back to Santa Fe just to eat here.
